On January 7, 2025, community members gathered at the Metro Tech Conference Center for the 2025 GO Bond Eastside Community Meeting. This event provided a platform for residents to learn about the upcoming General Obligation (GO) Bond program and to share their input on essential infrastructure projects.
City officials presented information on how GO Bonds fund critical infrastructure such as streets, sidewalks, parks, and drainage systems. They emphasized the importance of public participation in shaping the bond package to address the unique needs of the Eastside community.
Attendees engaged in discussions, sharing their insights and suggestions for future projects. The meeting also provided access to valuable resources, ensuring that residents are well-informed and involved in the planning process.
As the planning process continues, residents are encouraged to stay informed and involved. Upcoming workshops and virtual sessions will be announced, providing additional opportunities for public participation. Together, through active engagement, we can shape a future that benefits all members of our city.
