In Northeast Oklahoma City, we know that when one of us rises, we all rise together. That belief is at the heart of our work—and why we’re reaching out today.

The Eastside carries a legacy of resilience, creativity, and community power. But it’s also a place where systemic barriers have limited opportunity for far too long. Minority-owned businesses are nearly three times more likely to be denied loans than white-owned businesses. Property values in majority-Black neighborhoods sit 23% lower, even when housing quality is equal. Beyond statistics, these numbers reflect the lived experiences of our business owners, neighbors and families. 

And yet, in the face of these inequities, our community continues to rise.

At Northeast OKC Renaissance, we are committed to making that rise possible—by creating pathways that honor our history, protect our culture, and expand our economic power. Through ethical development, small business acceleration, and non-traditional lending, we’re helping community members step into opportunities fully equipped: prepared, informed, and backed by systems that clear the path forward.

Our community shows up with grit, solutions, and a commitment to their dreams; we simply help remove the barriers so they can forge ahead. Our residents deserve quality housing options that allow them not only to remain in NEOKC, but to shape it—to influence the design of their environment and ensure that it serves them at every stage of life, along with the resources and pride-of-place required to sustain long-term investment.
